Job summary

Palos School District 118 is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I to provide first-level technical support for staff and students. You will respond to requests via phone, email, walk-ins, or the district ticketing system, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems to senior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in technology support or related role.
• Experience installing and maintaining Windows devices, printers, and projectors.
• Experience supporting Windows and Apple devices, including iPads.
• Experience with help desk or ticketing systems preferred.
• Experience in an educational environment preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple users/locations independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to staff and students.
