Job summary

Best Buy’s Morse OH Store in Columbus is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support, helping customers decide whether to repair or replace devices and guiding them through basic services with supported training.

You will communicate clearly, set accurate time estimates, and collaborate with fellow agents while maintaining a friendly, helpful store presence and a flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
