Job summary

Best Buy in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support, providing knowledge and solutions for computers and devices at our store.

You will receive training and work with other agents on more complex repairs, while helping customers decide between repair or replacement and keeping them informed with clear updates throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• 3 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Interest in technology and helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
