Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent at our Port Arthur, TX store. You will be the first contact for tech support, assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents for complex repairs.

You’ll provide friendly, timely service, set up devices, and advise customers on repair or replacement options, while staying current with certified training and store procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail tech environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Assist customers in setting up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses and collaborate with other agents.
