Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Minnesota to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Mankato store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on more complex repairs while maintaining knowledge through ongoing training.

The role emphasizes providing friendly service, helping customers decide on repair or replacement, and supporting a fast-paced store environment with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Ask questions and listen to understand tech issues; provide accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
