Job summary

Best Buy in Kokomo, IN is seeking a part-time Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support and solutions. You’ll learn to assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with fellow agents on more complex repairs.

As part of our team, you’ll help customers set up devices, explain repair versus replacement options, and provide accurate time estimates. Training and resources are provided to grow your tech knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: passion for technology and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
