Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent at our Soquel, CA store to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions. You will be trained to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

If friends and family bring questions, this role may be a perfect fit. You will help customers set up devices, guide repair or replacement decisions, and stay connected with service queues while delivering accurate timelines.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
