Job summary

Best Buy in Norwalk, CT is hiring a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our store. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll receive training and resources to help customers with devices, including setup, repair or replacement advice, and clear status updates. A flexible schedule is required, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Passion for technology and problem solving.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Diagnose tech issues by asking questions and taking notes to estimate next steps.
• Assist customers in setting up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and update customers on status.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
• Have at least 3 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
