Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy & Operations (Finance) to bridge strategic planning with operational execution across Central Technology. You will translate long-term priorities into concrete roadmaps, drive investment decisions, and lead AI-enabled storytelling for executive audiences.

You will partner with CTO and leadership teams, manage planning cadences, and shepherd governance and performance metrics to maximize business value. Flexible hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategy and operations experience in large-scale technology environments.
• Proven ability to partner directly with C-level, VP, and senior Product and Engineering leaders.
• Demonstrated capability as a player-coach with leadership and execution skills.
• Strong financial acumen with technology budgets, labor capitalization, and cloud costs.

Responsibilities

• Translate multi-year strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps with OKRs/KPIs.
• Oversee core CTO planning rhythms and executive reviews with AI-driven workflows.
• Tackle high-stakes challenges with structured analysis and data-backed recommendations.
• Architect an intelligent view of Central Technology performance and automate reporting pipelines.
