Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks a Director of Technology Strategy & Operations (Finance) to translate multi-year priorities into actionable roadmaps and governance. You will own CTO rhythms, model data, and craft executive narratives for strategic decisions and board materials.

You will partner with C-suite leaders across product, engineering, and finance, driving AI-forward workflows and cost-aware investments while mentoring a high-performing Strategy & Operations team.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership experience guiding large tech programs and teams.
• Ability to work with C-suite, VPs, and senior leaders across product, engineering, and finance.
• Strong data synthesis, narrative crafting, and decision-support capabilities.
• Proven track record turning strategy into actionable roadmaps and governance.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and generate executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Translate multi-year strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps and OKRs/KPIs.
• Own and optimize CTO business rhythms (planning, QBRs, MBRs, executive reviews).
• Tackle ambiguous, high-stakes challenges with structured analysis and recommendations.
• Architect an integrated view of Central Technology performance and investments.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to tie roadmaps to business value and reduce tech debt.
• Build relationships across Yahoo and ensure alignment of service delivery with priorities.
• Collaborate with Finance and People on technology resource planning and cost allocation.
• Translate complex progress and roadmaps into clear executive narratives for boards.
• Pilot AI tools and establish best practices for prompt engineering and automation.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Strategy & Operations team.
