Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director, CTO FP&A (Finance) to lead the financial planning and analysis for the Central Technology Organization.

You will partner with the CTO and engineering leadership to manage Opex and Capex investments, providing strategic financial guidance and operational insight. You’ll oversee monthly and quarterly P&L reviews, champion AI-enabled analytics, and drive efficient budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning in a fast-paced, hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of related finance experience, ideally including digital media industry experience.
• 5+ years of Management experience.
• Proven experience in FP&A / Financial Operations with a focus on technology and cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud services business models, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in Excel, Google Sheets and reporting, while creating visual graphs/data to tell a cohesive story.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI-assisted productivity and analytical tools to enhance workflow velocity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forecasting, annual budget planning, long-range planning, and executive-level analyses.
• Advise CTO and engineering leaders on resource allocation, metrics, cloud infrastructure, and cost efficiencies.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual CTO P&L reviews across CTO pillars.
• Oversee cost budgets for the Central Technology Office with accountability and discipline.
• Drive AI-enabled analytics and predictive modeling to automate variance reconciliations and close processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed short- and long-term financial projections using market trends.
