Job summary
Chamberlain University is seeking a Technical & Sim Support Specialist to provide Tier 1–2 IT support for campus labs and the SimCare Center. You will handle classroom equipment, imaging, software deployment, and user assistance for staff, students and faculty, with approx.
10 hours weekly for SimCare. The role requires an Associate’s degree in a technical field and 2 years of desktop support experience, plus Microsoft Active Directory and basic networking knowledge.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field.
- 2 years’ experience with desktop support.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory in a large network environment.
- Entry-level experience with networking, data, and voice systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 IT support for campus and remote locations.
- Coordinate inspections of classroom equipment; process repair tickets.
- Build images and software packages to deploy.
- Assist in supervision of Student Workers and support staff.
- Ensure lab equipment meets Academic delivery requirements.
- Support SimCare Center with intermediate-level IT support.
- Respond to requests and setup equipment for training sessions.
- Perform troubleshooting for staff, students, and faculty.
