Qualifications

• 1 year full-time paid experience in programming, operation and maintenance of simulation-based medical learning systems.
• Bachelor of Science preferred.
• Current and valid Basic Life Support certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and organize simulation laboratories and materials.
• Ability to set priorities on own initiative.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Professional image in attire and conduct.
• Flexible schedule and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down simulation equipment and other learning technologies.
• Operate computer hardware, audio-video recording systems, and simulation equipment.
• Assist faculty with human patient simulator labs, including organization and cleaning.
• Independently seek clarification to promote smooth simulation experiences.
• Organize and maintain simulation environments and schedules.
• Manage and store equipment and supplies in simulation areas.
• Provide oversight and assistance to faculty using the simulation environment.
• Identify and implement solutions to problems related to simulation equipment.
• Repair and maintain equipment or initiate warranty repairs.
• Remain current with technical skills by attending conferences and training.
• Train faculty on operation of equipment.
• Recommend changes to improve service quality.
