Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a part-time Technical & Simulation Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 and 2 IT support for campus-classroom equipment and the SimCare Center across campus sites. The role includes imaging, software deployments, and assisting student workers while ensuring lab security and equipment uptime.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Faculty, staff, and facilities, with approximately 10 hours per week and on-site duties at Nashville campuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support experience required.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Active Directory experience required.
• Basic networking, data and voice systems knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 campus support for classroom and lab equipment.
• Coordinate daily inspections of equipment and process repair tickets.
• Assist in lab setup, imaging, and software deployments.
• Support Student Help Desk issues and supervise temporary staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and keep lab security and equipment updated.
• Troubleshoot staff, student, and faculty IT issues and coordinate with facilities on onsite vendor work.
