Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers at our Jacksonville, FL locations. You will set appointments, explain technician recommendations in easy-to-understand language, and identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will greet customers, determine vehicle needs via walk-arounds and test drives, produce repair orders with transparent estimates, and collaborate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and walk-around.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost/time estimates and full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers to inform and ensure satisfaction.
