Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to serve as the liaison between customers and Service Technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will set appointments, greet customers, and determine vehicle needs while explaining technician recommendations in clear terms.

Sit at the front line to upsell maintenance and keep customers informed and satisfied throughout the service journey. You will use technology to access vehicle information, prepare repair orders with estimates, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer experience skills are essential.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals or quotas.
• Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for customer appointments for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers and assess vehicle needs during walk-arounds and tests.
• Explain service recommendations in plain language and upsell where appropriate.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and keep transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers to inform and ensure satisfaction.
• Build product knowledge to better assist customers and drive loyalty.
