Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to propel growth in the CMD portfolio across the Western to Midwestern United States. You will partner with Account Managers, demonstrate chromatography data systems expertise, and close deals from prospecting to completion.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in analytical instrument sales, a science degree (MS preferred), and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 80% is required; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in analytical/instrument markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in science; Masters preferred.
• Experience with chromatography data systems (CDS) and laboratory informatics software; familiarity with Thermo Scientific Chromeleon CDS or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and prioritizes new client opportunities and sales potential for CMD product lines.
• Supports and directs Account Managers to uncover new opportunities and increase revenue.
• Develops and drives sales strategies across the product lines and acts as trusted advisor to customers.
