Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work closely with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and participate in sales meetings and customer interactions with mentors.

This program provides a pathway to our Graduate Training Program after graduation. We welcome engineering undergraduates or graduates who are actively enrolled, with sophomore-year completion required, and legal right to work in the

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering for the duration of the internship.
• Must have completed at least their sophomore year by start date.
• U.S. citizen or right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Posting may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at facilities across North America.
• Valid driver’s license with 12+ months of proof of insurance; no major traffic violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and assist hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in solution-making.
