Job summary

Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions, offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers, gaining exposure to HVAC systems, building controls, and services in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

The program develops technical, business, leadership and communication skills and can lead to the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering for the internship duration.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions and customer meetings.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a daily point of contact.
