Job summary

Salt Security is seeking a proactive Business Development/Sales Development professional to drive outbound outreach and qualify leads across designated territories. You will collaborate with Territory Account Managers to prioritize accounts, research prospects, and conduct multi-channel outreach to schedule meetings and advance opportunities.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building across levels of client organizations, and the ability to learn Salt's value proposition

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization over the phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up on all inbound leads in the assigned territories.
• Work closely with Territory Account Managers to target priority accounts in specified territories.
• Research and profile prospects.
• Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, social media, and email.
• Schedule meetings for Territory Account Managers with qualified leads.
• Prepare background notes for reps to leverage in calls with prospects.
• Manage time across competing demands and maintain clean data in Salesforce.com.
