Travelers is seeking an Account Executive Officer in Technology to partner with agents and brokers, assess complex risk, and drive profitability for new and renewal business. The role emphasizes technical underwriting, decisive decision-making, and strong relationship-building across internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial lines underwriting, CPCU designation, and the ability to travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products and the regulatory environment.
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to identify challenges and make timely decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with agents/brokers.

Responsabilités

• Manage profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
• Travel to meetings as needed.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans and partner with MD on regional plans.
• Assist in training and mentoring of less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
