Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Mountain View, CA. You will patrol, monitor access, and deter security incidents at a technology-focused corporate site, delivering strong customer service.

The role emphasizes visible presence, clear communication, and adherence to site procedures. Shifts include nights; compensation is hourly with benefits. A background check and valid license may be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a tech-focused corporate location, following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, perimeters, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
