Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observer at a leading technology location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of security experience, age 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), a high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience required.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy; licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain visitor records.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking, and perimeter; report hazards and incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly; document observations and notify site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Assist with access-control and badge procedures while maintaining professional communications.
