Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to support VIP's mission of earning automotive customers for life. You will work at the counter as a service writer and in the shop as a technician, helping customers understand vehicle conditions and VIP processes.

You will pursue safety, training, and certifications (ASE, BATS, TPMS, etc.), participate in daily huddles, and help the team deliver a superior customer experience while achieving billed hours and high performance.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• ASE certifications listed above are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, explain vehicle conditions per MPI inspection.
• Work as technician and service writer as needed, completing work orders.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment operation.
• Participate in training and certification for roles.
• Support management in meeting VIP standards and customer engagement.
