Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Team Leader – Kitchen to drive sales performance and store excellence. You will recruit, train, and mentor associates, including holiday hiring support and performance management, ensuring an exceptional in-store customer experience.

Reporting to the Assistant Store Leader, you will guide clienteling, Registry, routines, and concierge coaching, while supporting events, demonstrations, and visual presentations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area.
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage professional growth.
• Provide timely feedback about performance to associates and share observations with leadership.
• Train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, and policies as applicable.
• Understand and follow Crate and Barrel/CB2 policies including loss prevention, security, and safety guidelines.
• Promote sales as they pertain to the Leader On Duty role and store results.
• Communicate with leadership to review business results, plans, and customer feedback.
• Ensure customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service.
