Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Team Leader – Kitchen to drive sales and store excellence by leading and developing the sales team. You will recruit, train, and mentor associates, including holiday hiring, while ensuring a superior in-store customer experience through clienteling, Registry, and store routines.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on coaching, performance feedback, and active leadership on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on performance and maintain a strong presence in the department.
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage growth.
• Provide timely feedback about performance and observations to the lead.
• Train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies and procedures.
• Understand loss prevention, security and safety guidelines per the Associate Guide.
• Promote sales as Leader On Duty and review business results with leadership.
• Ensure customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service on the floor.
