Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Team Leader – Kitchen to drive sales performance and store excellence by leading, coaching, and developing the sales team. You will recruit, train, and mentor associates, including holiday hiring support and performance management, while ensuring an exceptional in-store customer experience and guiding clienteling and registry services.

You will also support store operations, events, brand presentation, and expense management, with a focus on delivering strong team

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department.
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage professional growth.
• Provide specific and timely feedback about performance to associates and share observations with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, and policies.
• Understand and follow Crate and Barrel/CB2 policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
• Promote sales and act as Leader On Duty (LOD) to drive store results.
• Communicate business results and feedback with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Ensure exceptional in-store customer service and efficient handling of customer needs.
