Job summary

moe is seeking a Team Leader in Murfreesboro to help direct daily restaurant operations in the absence of senior management. You will supervise shifts, ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety, and deliver a positive guest experience while managing labor costs.

Responsibilities include training new hires and existing staff, enforcing uniform standards, handling guest comments, and assisting with opening/closing duties as needed. This hourly role requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising team members and maintaining restaurant standards.
• Ability to handle guest feedback professionally and escalate when needed.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and opening/closing duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts and maintain a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
• Manage both front-of-house and back-of-house shift responsibilities to aid labor control.
• Monitor speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assist with guest comments and complaints and escalate as necessary to management.
• Supervise daily shifts to ensure product quality, cleanliness and standards are met.
• Assist in ongoing training of team members including new hires and existing staff.
• Encourage adherence to uniform policy and standards.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Open and close the restaurant in the absence of upper management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Overview: The Team Leader contributes to the success of the company through assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant. The Team Leader’s responsibility is to assist in directing the operation of the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager and/or Assistant Manager while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
