Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store success. You will oversee key optical and lab processes, supervise sales and lab staff, and ensure eyewear quality meets high standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, training teammates, and serving as a key holder when required. A strong background in optics, math, and retail is essential, with leadership abilities to mentor others.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic math.
• Sales and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & lens measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service to customers and patients.
• Assist customers with selections, offer recommendations, and support sales team.
• Act as alternate store key holder when needed.
• In Lab (if applicable) perform custom fits and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, efficient lab/work environment and proper operation of lab tools.
