Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage optical and lab processes. You will assist customers, provide lens recommendations, and support sales teams while serving as an alternate store key holder.

In the lab, you will oversee edging and mounting, ensure accuracy of prescriptions, and train staff on best practices. A valid state Opticianry license and strong retail experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to solve problems and provide recommendations.
• Familiar with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Assist customers with selections and provide recommendations; support sales associates.
• Act as an alternate store key holder.
• Use licensed expertise to advise on lens choices based on prescriptions and patient needs; adjust and dispense eyewear; perform digital measurements.
• In lab settings, perform precise edging and placement of prescriptions in lenses.
• Collaborate with associates to improve knowledge and store processes related to lens and lab tech.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and proper lab/tool maintenance.
• Lead and train staff to uphold quality standards.
