Job summary

Petsense in the United States is seeking a Team Member to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with merchandising, opening/closing, and ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and pets.

Ideal candidates have retail or pet knowledge, are 18+, and can read, write, and count accurately. The role may involve varying shifts, handling live animals, and helping with loading purchases.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Execute basic merchandising activities and price changes.
• Open/close procedures and daily banking deposits as required.
• Resolve customer complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in training new Team Members.
