Job summary

Petsense is seeking a customer-focused Team Member to support Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. The role requires flexibility, attendance, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will assist with live animals care, loading purchases, and in-store promotions, while upholding loss prevention and policy adherence. Training team members may be involved.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and be available for varied hours.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies.
• Assist customers and promote selling initiatives (TEAM).
• Perform merchandising, opening/closing, cash handling, and price changes.
• Care for live animals and assist customers with loading purchases.
