  • Active forklift certification.
  • Preferred: 2–4 years of warehouse/logistics/distribution experience.
  • Preferred: 2–4 years of proven forklift experience.
  • Preferred: current or prior MHE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities assigned to the warehouse team.
  • Oversee associates handling warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities.
  • Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist with forklift operation and certification.
  • Coordinate inbound unloading, product stacking, outbound picking, and staging.
  • Verify inbound and outbound paperwork, product counts, doors, and trailers.
  • Load orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Research shipping and receiving discrepancies.
  • Communicate professionally with customers by telephone, electronically, or in person.
  • Prepare activity reports for site management.
  • Verify products and orders meet quality standards and report damage or discrepancies.
  • Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.
  • Report inconsistencies and problems to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and department meetings.
  • Execute safety protocols and maintain warehouse cleanliness and security.
  • Direct warehouse work-team operations and assist with productivity and payroll-hour records.
  • Assist with workforce levels and participate in establishing and implementing work schedules.
  • Ensure product handling follows quality procedures and guidelines.
  • Initiate or recommend corrective actions for product, process, and quality-system nonconformities.
  • Operate, inspect, and perform minor maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and report equipment problems.
  • Perform or assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as answering telephones, scheduling, greeting visitors, filing, and record keeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
