Job summary

Jobtailor in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control, shipping/receiving, and data entry. You will operate MHE, count inventory, and maintain records, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, RF scanning, and collaboration with leadership. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and flexibility for nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6 months experience in logistics or related environment.
  • Able to operate MHE; forklift training completed.
  • Basic computer skills; RF scanners; WMS functions.
  • English language skills (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to change.
  • Able to work nights and weekends if required.
  • Preferred: 1–3 years in inventory; forklift experience.
  • Preferred: MHE certification.

  • Enter data for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve issues.
  • Return customer material to the factory.
  • Transfer material to appropriate areas and maintain locations.
  • Use equipment safely and report issues.
  • Work autonomously and report progress to supervisors.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security.
  • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Support shipping and receiving by locating missing items.
  • Perform safety and housekeeping audits.
  • Participate in daily start-up and staff meetings.
  • Use PC skills for email and report generation.
  • Identify and resolve non-conformities in product, process, and quality-system.
  • Review inbound/outbound operations including loading/unloading.
  • Ship material to factory and notify management of updates.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assist leadership and participate in cross-training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

  • Work autonomously and report progress and issues to supervisors or management
  • Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security
  • Conduct physical inventories and daily/monthly in-house cycle counts
  • Support shipping and receiving by locating missing items
  • Perform safety and housekeeping audits; report and correct unsafe operations
  • Participate in daily start-up and staff meetings
  • Use PC skills for email and report generation
  • Prevent, identify, record, investigate, and resolve product, process, and quality-system non-conformities
  • Review inbound and outbound operations, including unloading, checking, stacking, storing, order pulling, staging, labeling, and loading
  • Ship material to the factory upon client inventory requests and notify management when procedures require updates
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Assist leadership as needed and participate in cross-training activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
  • Able to operate MHE
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Basic computer skills
  • RF Scanners
  • WMS functions
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform related duties
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required
  • Preferred: 1-3 years’ experience working in an inventory department
  • Preferred: 1-3 years forklift experience
  • Preferred: Current or prior MHE certification
  • Ability to perform required physical activities including bending, climbing, crawling, handling/fingering, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, squatting/kneeling, pushing and pulling
