Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of On Field Operations to lead the sales floor with strong merchandising, pricing, and athlete experience. You will coach teammates, manage priorities, and deliver a consistent, athlete-first shopping experience.

As a leader, you’ll help develop 30-60-90 day plans, supervise store operations, and ensure staffing aligns with business goals while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment for athletes and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution across the sales floor with strong merchandising, pricing, and athlete experience.
• Coach teammates, manage priorities, and deliver an athlete-first shopping experience.
• Develop plans with leadership to support business priorities and staffing needs.
