Job summary

MaineGuide in Portland, ME is seeking a reliable Line Cook for a part-time morning shift to support breakfast and lunch service.

You will prepare daily menus, set up stations, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while working with a collaborative culinary team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Baseline kitchen or line cook experience preferred, especially for breakfast/brunch service.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule: Part-Time
Shift: 6AM – 3PM MTW
Pay Rate: $21-23/hour
