Job summary

Longfellow Hotel in Portland, ME is seeking reliable Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Part-Time and Full-Time schedules available, with shifts from early morning to evening.

You will prepare breakfast and other meals, maintain clean working areas, and ensure food safety and quality for guests. The ideal candidate has prior line cook experience, ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, especially in breakfast/brunch service.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service begins
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed

Schedule: Part-Time / Full-Time
Shift: 6AM – 3PM / 8AM-4PM / 3PM-10PM
Pay Rate: $21-23/hour
