Job summary

Stayuncommon at the Longfellow Hotel in Portland, ME seeks reliable Line Cooks for Part-Time or Full-Time schedules. Shifts run from early morning to afternoon/evening to support breakfast and lunch or dinner service with high standards for food preparation and presentation.

You will prepare daily menus, stock stations, and maintain clean, organized work areas while collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Prior experience is preferred; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen/line cook roles preferred, especially breakfast/brunch service.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain is required or encouraged.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual and reliable with a solid work ethic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule: Part-Time / Full-Time
Shift: 6AM – 3PM / 8AM-4PM / 3PM-10PM
Pay Rate: $21-23/hour

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team! This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. You'll help us provide high-quality breakfast and lunch or dinner service to our guests, maintaining high standards for food preparation, safety, and presentation.
