Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. You will greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and guide clients to the right tax professional. This in-person role supports daily operations and document intake with an emphasis on confidentiality.

You’ll work closely with tax professionals and staff, maintaining a clean, organized office and providing excellent service during tax season and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
• Strong communication and professional presentation.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Comfort with basic computer tools and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care
