Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. You will provide full-service tax preparation, advice, and software support, while building local client relationships and driving community engagement.

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, meeting tax needs, growing the local client base, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. This non-exempt, part of a collaborative team, offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license required.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador in your local TurboTax location.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing with TurboTax support to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Use government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in plain language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine care for clients' financial goals.
• Build long-term trust and relationships, both in-person and via Intuit tools, addressing client inquiries.
• Help clients overcome tax-related challenges and support ongoing service.
