Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, while growing the local client base and driving loyalty.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax guidance, discovery sessions, and community engagement, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Must reside within the United States.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Enthusiastically represent TurboTax locally, serving as a fixture and public face of TurboTax in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
• Lead and participate with the support of TurboTax in local marketing, making the topic of taxes accessible and approachable.
