Job summary

Intuit seeks energetic TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to customers, while growing the local client base and building lasting community relationships.

The role emphasizes on-site client encounters, educational outreach, and collaboration with marketing to expand TurboTax presence.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, including weekends.
• Willing to build local/community presence and content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax in the local community.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax scenarios and advise on deductions and planning.
• Utilize government sites and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Build long-term trust to turn transactions into multi-year relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax video tools; address inquiries.
