Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to take ownership of ASC 740 income tax provision and coordinate outsourced tax functions.

The role sits at the center of tax operations, serving as the internal quarterback across external advisors (RSM), sales tax providers (Avalara), and internal stakeholders. Qualifikationen

ASC 740 income tax provision experience
C-Corp federal and state tax compliance
Experience with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms)
Familiarity with Avalara or similar sales tax systems
Proven ability to manage audits and respond to tax authorities
Strong project management and coordination mindset

Aufgaben

Prepare annual ASC 740 tax provision
Perform provision-to-return true-ups and variance analysis
Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations
Liaise with external tax advisors (RSM) and sales tax providers (Avalara)
Oversee multi-jurisdictional tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels
Identify tax savings opportunities and planning strategies
Support senior leadership with tax implications of business decisions
Develop and maintain systems to track regulatory changes
Assist with cash flow forecasting related to tax obligations
Optimize tax workflows and coordinate across internal teams and third-party providers
