Job summary

Acloché LLC, a U.S.-based manufacturer of highly engineered structural products, is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager focused on ASC 740 income tax provision and coordination of outsourced tax functions.

The role sits at the center of tax operations—owning the provision while coordinating with external advisors (RSM), sales tax providers (Avalara), and internal stakeholders to drive accurate reporting and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience with federal and state tax compliance for C-Corps.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.
• Proven ability to manage audits and interact with tax authorities.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to operate independently in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual ASC 740 tax provision and related calculations.
• Coordinate provision-to-return true-ups and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors and sales tax providers.
• Review federal and state returns and workpapers; manage timelines.
• Oversee sales/use tax compliance processes with outsourcing partners.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and support tax planning.
