Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location, helping customers with in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support. This role emphasizes community engagement and building a local client base.

The position is non-exempt and requires onsite presence; base pay in California ranges from $32.50 to $36.00 per hour, with benefits and performance-based rewards. Applicants must reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license preferred.
• Have a PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses/certifications/bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite work at a TurboTax retail/flagship location 20+ hours per week.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work front-facing in retail.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build long-term client relationships.
• Grow the local client base with marketing support and community outreach.
• Assist customers using TurboTax software and answer tax-related questions.
