Job summary

Intuit is hiring year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, advisory support, and software guidance to in-person customers, helping them navigate complex tax scenarios while building local client relationships.

You’ll leverage your tax expertise, engage with the community, and contribute to growing TurboTax’s presence locally through marketing support and personalized

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for the community
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front-facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador and represent TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals through tax planning and support.
