Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team member to support the tax interview process at a franchise office. You will enter client and W-2 information, help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients to ensure accuracy and service quality.

Strong reading and math skills, clear communication, and familiarity with Windows-based programs are preferred. Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are needed to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
