H&R Block is seeking an entry-level team member to support the tax interview process in-office. You will input client and W-2 information into the tax software, help assemble returns, and review results with clients to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong communication, precise data entry, and friendly customer service. Applicants should be prepared for routine bookkeeping tasks and to adhere to state and local requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with customer service tasks and client interactions.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
