Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to assist with the initial tax interview by entering client and W-2 data into the tax program and to help close interviews by assembling returns and obtaining signatures.

You will review completed returns with clients and ensure superior service while performing additional duties as assigned. This entry-level role emphasizes clear communication and attention to detail within a local franchise office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone is essential.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
