Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist during tax interviews, enter client and W-2 information, and help assemble and review tax returns with clients.

You will ensure superior service for all clients and support bookkeeping procedures as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reading and math skills to begin and finish tax interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
